The interior paint job is done now. Pedro J. want to see more pics, here ya go Pedro glad to oblige. Came out incredible. In other news, I made my tile guy rip out most of his work and start over. If I wanted an average job I could have done it myself. The part he did came out killer but he snuck off to another job and let his helper take over and I was busy painting and didn’t notice. Sneaky. You gotta watch these guys. When the tile gets done it’s Cabinets, counter tops, floor refinishing and then appliances.
Holy cow. Sharp… razor sharp. The photo with the bright light right next to the ceiling molding of a stub wall — where is that in the house? I know where everything else is, I can’t place that.
I like the little window in the dining room where the wall-mounted air conditioner was. Nice touch.
By now, with the exterior paint done, you must be getting some substantial unsolicited attention (and compliments) from realtors, neighbors, etc. This house should really be written up by the local rag, featured on local TV, etc.
The one with the can light and crown molding is the stub wall in the kitchen that the fridge sits next to. The other pic with red in it thats uplit is looking from the dining room into the hall above the hall bath door. I was so happy with how good the spraying of my trims came out. I used semi-gloss and the color is Sherwin Williams “snowbound.” A 311 tip with the pressure turned down on my sprayer and 2 coats did the trick. All the walls are hand painted and cut in with a brush, it took 2 weeks because of all the detail in the trims and I did 2 coats on everything of course. Thanks for following enplaned.
I’ve been thinking of some cool ideas for a coming out party, maybe in my marketing materials I’ll bring a 1923 Model T and park it under the porte cochere for the mls pics: ).
Hey thanks for the photos Tom, thats what I mean when I say more photos, because I like to see all the advances, the details, the house is excellent, I really like what you do to the houses, my english isn’t very good, I’m from Chile, I review this site almost every day, since a couple of years.
Hi,
What color was used for the interior? Looks like a gray/blue hue… I really like it so can you let me know?
Thanks,
Karen
@Karen, the color is Antique Sterling by ICI. If you go to Home Depot they have it in their computer even though it’s not on their charts.
You need to take part in a contest for one of the finest sites on the net.
I will highly recommend this site!
