New Carlsbad remodel just completed! We fell in love with this fixer-upper last December when it went on the market in the MLS. Our theme inside is light wood accents on a color drenched interior with smooth texture and luxury finishes. The White Oak flooring is engineered and glued down, 9″ planks and up to 70″ long planks. This is $10.00/sf high end material. The original 1977 staircase handrail was removed and updated with new black satin powder coating and a wood bleaching of the red oak to make it lighter to match the front door and flooring. Interior is all Benjamin Moore OC-17 White Dove. Color drenching involves using the same color throughout, only changing sheens. Walls are eggshell, trims ate sating and ceiling is flat. All White Dove.
In the kitchen we used a combo of White Oak Shaker with White uppers. Taj Majal quartzite countertops, fireclay apron sink and brushed gold fixtures completed the look. Profession appliance package complete with slide in 6 burner range and microwave drawer is by Fridgedaire.
