Another Serra Mesa Remodel Complete!

We wrapped up what turned out to be my favorite house flipping project in Serra Mesa. I’ve bought and remodeled probably 5-6 in this neighborhood, but this one came out to perfection! No faster did the home hit the market for sale over the Labor Day weekend than we got multiple offers and it is now in escrow sold to a new buyer. Thanks to everyone who helped and made this transformation come to life! Keep us in mind for any fixer-upper “as-is” homes, we are always looking for a house to buy and transform into something special!

Rancho Penasquitos Remodel Time

We are pleased to announce a new project to start off 2021 in the San Diego neighborhood called Rancho Penasquitos. Locals call it “PQ” for short. This is a great 1970’s track home neighborhood known for its good school district and proximity to nearby upscale Carmel Valley and easy access to the popular SR 56 bike trail. I’ve heard it called Poor Man’s Carmel Valley by some realtors in fact. This is a great neighborhood though and what we do here will make it even better. Currently the home has lots of dark paneling, popcorn ceilings, dirty carpet and old paint. We are going to have fun bringing everything here up to date.

We purchased this house from an out of area Trustee who inherited the house. El Cajon Remodel done!

Our new remodel just hit the market today in El Cajon. This is a great culdesac location in the foothills of Mount Helix. It was a complete renovation from top to bottom. We purchased this property during the height of COVID direct from the homeowner saving them the hassle, uncertainty and expense of using an agent. Really happy with how it came out, soon there will be a new family on the street instead of a run down rental property. 699 Deland Ct El Cajon, CA 92020 $639,000.

Mission Heights Renovation

We purchased this house right in the peak of the COVID-19 scare. The seller was moving out of town and the house needed extensive repairs. We are doing everything new top to bottom including a new driveway so it will come out incredible. There was a bad retaining wall that had a 30,000 estimate to repair as well. The homeowner decided to sell as-is instead of making all these repairs.

This property is in Mission Heights, the neighborhood right up on the hill above Fashion Valley Mall.

The first thing we did was demo the whole house and remove the bad roof, driveway, and retaining wall. I always start with the roof and fixing all the damaged facia board. This is going to be a great house as soon as we clear the backyard and grade it flat.

We are going to do a very complete remodel on this fixer upper. There was a foundation repair about 20 years ago, I am not happy with the concrete floors so we will level them a little better as well. Stay tuned we have this scheduled for a 5 week complete transformation.
